Architectural Design Process
Phase 1: Conceptual Development - Planning and Elevation
This includes:
Design Works:
● Design briefing meeting along with IDS Team and all the stage holders in the project
● Curate design references/ theme and establishing design philosophy for the entire project
● Site visit to understand and document the context of the surroundings
● Space Planning and concept development - preparing preliminary concepts plans for zoning the requirements along with ideal sizes and positioning
● Adding Furniture and sanitary CP fittings to the Architectural plans which serves as a base for interior designing post civil works completion
● Elevation design on the approved conceptual plans along with it’s 3D visualization as any changes due to elevation design will infl uence planning fi nalization
Meetings and Site Visits:
● Meeting with you, as required to achieve above goals including one site visit before construction kick off by design team
● Any reference project or existing works visit which helps to establish design ideology
Phase 2: Execution Drawings Development - Building Services Drawings along with Architectural Drawings
This includes:
Building Services Drawings Works:
● Structural Design and construction drawings
● Electrical Design and construction drawings
● Plumbing Design and construction drawings
● HVAC Design and construction drawings
● Fire fighting Design and construction drawings
● Architectural Construction Drawings Package
Meetings and Site Visits:
● Meeting with you, as required to achieve above goals including one site visit before construction kick off by design team for final checks and balances in the drawings
● Meeting with venders & contractors in IDS office for drawings reading and smooth onboarding
Phase 3: Execution Phase - Construction on site
This includes:
● Getting contractors on board with efficient filtering of agencies with best quality and competitive pricing
● Establishing contractors Roles and responsibilities and providing required checklist for quality checks to be conducted on site by contractors and supervisors
● Coordination between different agencies and enabling them to read and execute drawings
● Helping in material procurement and decision making as and when required
● Creating roadmap for execution - sequence of works and timelines scheduling
Meetings and Site Visits:
● Meeting with you, as required to achieve above goals
● One site visit in every two weeks by Team IDS/ Principal Architect (as per fee package)
● Meeting with venders & contractors in IDS office for doubt clearing of executing teams
● Checking quality of construction as per market standards and highlighting it to the client in form of Site Visit Logs (to be published after every visit by team IDS)
